I can't figure out why this photo is turned this way but it's just too cute not to post! This was in the morning after her first feeding!
So on Sunday May 18th we baptized Nicoletta in a private ceremony with her cousin Mia. The priest did an excellent job with everything however he was a little um generous with the holy water when it came time to splash it on their heads. John and I were practicing with Nicoletta in the tub but nothing could have prepared her for the amount of water that she was "blessed" with! See pictures below, John Ciffone did an excellent job capturing our true feelings!

And then it was Nicoletta's turn.....please take notice of a few things:
1. Michele's face in the background
2. The looks on mine and Nicole's faces
3. The amount of holy water being splashed onto our daughter's head!
4. Mike trying to "sop" up Nicole's arm (she was soaked) and the baby's face (she was soaked as well)!

All things considered she did really well for only being barely 6 weeks old!
Both girls dresses held special meaning. Mia's dress was made from the fabric of her Grandma Rose's (Kevin's mom) Wedding dress. Nicoletta's dress was actually mine which I wore when I was baptized and my Aunt Ann and Uncle Anthony were my godparents so my Aunt saw that gown come full circle!
