Florida!
My mom, Nicoletta and I took a girls trip to see my Auntie Ann and cousins in Florida. My cousin Connie from New York was also able to come down and meet up with us for a couple of days which was a nice bonus. First off Nicoletta was a DREAM both going and coming on the plane it was awesome. Fell asleep on both flights and didn't wake up until I woke her up with 15 minutes left in the flight! Anyhow, the weather was awful, sunny but windy and cold so there wasn't too many fun outdoor activities.
Of our indoor activities one of them was of course shopping. My mom bought Nicoletta this adorable little princess suitcase which she toted around the rest of the mall the rest of the day. And for the entire rest of the trip all we heard was "where's my tutcase?" She also picked up some fabulous jewelry, the girl knows how to accessorize, I'm such a proud Mama!
The Girls!
Down Dog....
So my Mom one morning was doing her "stretches" on the floor in the family room. Well Nicoletta decided to get down and join her. She even kicked her socks off so she could be just like G-ma. Sorry mom for publishing the shots of you in your jammies but they were too cute not to!
Disney on Ice
Papa treated Nicoletta to Disney on Ice in February. She had SUCH a good time she was up dancing and clapping and I thought she was going to loose her mind when she Mickey and Minnie!
New York....
My "little" cousin Jessie turned 16 in January. On the east coast it's a big thing to have a big Sweet 16 party so we all packed up and headed in the middle of one of the first bad Chicago snow storms to New York. I'll tell you those Pugliese's really know how to throw a party! We had an amazing time and couldn't get Nicoletta off the dance floor she was a dancin' fool! It was awesome to spend time and see all of our family despite the fact that it was FREEZING it was a great weekend!!
We did of course find a park to take Nicoletta to right around the corner from my cousins house.
This is a picture of the birthday girl (in the middle) with her mom and older sister.
Dancing Queen!!
This was Jessie's cake, it was a replica of her dress that she was wearing that night it looked and tasted amazing!
Jessie had a group of 8 girls that were considered her "VIP" girls. They all wore the same dresses and sat up at the head table with her. Anyhow while all the girls were taking pictures of course our little NIcoletta walked herself right up there to get in the action!
We also introduced Nicoletta to a NY staple! The beloved black and white cookie from Mona Lisa Bakery. She completely indulged and I think loved every second of it.
New Years was spent at our house this year with 4 other couples and their kids. The kids almost out numbered the adults next year for sure we're going to be at a loss. The kiddos were all pretty well behaved considering they were all up WAY past their bedtimes.
Christmas
Shoveling snow with Daddy!
