Brookfield Zoo

My Mom and John bought a year round membership to the zoo which means we all get in FREE! A few weekends ago we decided while Johnny was coaching to go take advantage of this and hit up the zoo. It seemed strange walking in so late because there were floods of people walking out but it was actually awesome, not hot, not crowded really enjoyable! Here are some pics from the day....

This was the calm before the goat storm. Notice the little goat starting to gnaw on Papa's shoe....That lead to it eating her dress, my mother's purse and snatching a piece of paper out of John's pocket. The goat had a grip on her dress that she couldn't get away from. I had my camera in one hand and she was holding my other hand and wouldn't let go! My mother had to finally pick her up so we get out of the mess!


We went in to see the sting ray exhibit. Again never in a million years did I think my little scaredy cat would stick her arm in the tank to pet the sting rays but take a look for yourself.....




Did anyone else know that a peacock could do this?
