Luca's going Tubular

We officially called Uncle and put our poor baby (and his parents) out of their misery. Luca has had either A chronic ear infection or 5 ear infections over the last 2 months. He is NOT sleeping anymore which means we're not sleeping either and while most people would say "he's only 6 months old some kids don't sleep through the night this early" I would say he was sleeping through the night between 10-12 hours at 4 months and ever since he got his first ear infection he has not done that. Anyhow, we went in on Monday. He did great! Was very happy and cooperative with all of the poking and prodding. When the Dr came out she said she didn't know how he was as pleasant of a kid as he was because he not only had a ton of fluid but he had nasty puss in his ears! While he was on the young side to be a candidate for tubes it was definitely the right decision. Glad that's behind us and we're looking forward to sleep :-)
