The Sweetest Thing...

I got to experience the sweetest thing this morning I'm only sad that I didn't think to snap a picture for evidence so you all could see it too.

I promised Nicoletta that I would paint her finger nails with her Ariel nail polish from Papa. She was a bit of a beast last night so it didn't happen but when she woke up this morning she looked down at her fingers and our exchange went something like this....

N: "oh no we didn't put my Ariel paint on my fingernails"

M: "oh yeah! Okay honey well Mama is going to jump in the shower real fast and when I get out I'll paint your fingers"

N: "Okay well maybe Daddy? Maybe he could do it?"

M: (smiling) "well that's a GREAT idea why don't you ask him!"

N: "Daddy can you put my Ariel paint on my finger nails?

J: "Sure honey I'd love to"

So I go off to the shower and a few minutes later I hear a knock on the shower door. There is John, proud as could be, and Nicoletta with her hands up proudly displaying her precisely painted finger nails! Honestly he did a better job then I do, I knew he would but only a Daddy of a little girl would do something like that.
