Too Soon?

We have a wedding this weekend and considering I can't reach my toes comfortably anymore I decided to stop after work and meet my Mom for a pedicure. I picked Nicoletta up from school and as we were walking out I was trying to explain where we were going so the conversation went something like this...

Me: "We have to hurry we're going to meet Grandma because we're going to have our toes painted"

N: "OH okay, I want Red!"

Me: "Okay well there is this wall of paint that has ALL different colors so you can pick ANY color you want."

N: "OHHHH are we doing this at my house?"

Me: "No honey we're going to a store to do it!"

N: "OH MY GOODNESS I'M SO EXCITED!"

Aside from the 2 times my poor mother had to jump up and take her to the potty she got right into it. My Mom has been going to these same people for about 15+ years. I was just going to paint her toes as she was sitting on my lap while I was getting mine done but they were so wonderful they treated her to the real deal take a look....

Needless to say Daddy was a bit nervous when I told him that Nicoletta had and thoroughly enjoyed her first mani/pedi! She picked out a BRIGHT pink that had sparkles in it and then Don, the owner, put additional sparkles on top of that she was PUMPED! If she thinks that was great wait until she experiences her first facial :-)
