We started off by going over to Nana's (Papa John's Mom's house) house in Arlington Heights while Daddy had to coach. Auntie Gerri was there and spoiled her. Grandma and Papa took her all over the neighborhood while Luca and I tagged along in the stroller. The routine went something like this:
1. She'd walk up to the door making sure that Papa and I were right behind her
2. She'd say "trick or treat"
3. She'd look shocked when they actually gave her candy
4. She'd say thank you
5. She'd turn around and yell to Grandma "Grandma grandma I got candy!!!"
Then we went back to Nana's house to help her pass out candy. Her and Papa sat out on the front porch with the candy bucket ready for when kids came. At one point she was in the middle of the sidewalk yelling "hey kids who wants candy!!". Once Daddy was done coaching we met him at Nonnie and Papa's house for some more trick or treating and dinner. We left Luca at home with Papa because it was getting colder to help pass out treats. Can't wait for next year when there are two of the running around!!
