She's an American Girl!!

Grandma Katie decided that on Nicoletta's first birthday she was going to buy her an American Girl Doll. She bought her the bitty baby which is like the preschool of these dolls! Anyhow now that she's older she totally plays with it, sleeps with it and makes us lug it around everywhere we let her take it! My mom wanted to start a new fun tradition by taking Nicoletta for lunch down at the store downtown. The restaurant area was ADORABLE, completely decked out in pink everywhere. She got to have "Bitty" sit next to her in the dolls own little high chair. Bitty got her own little tea cup and saucer (which Nicoletta kept pretending to drink out of taking turns with Bitty). We even surprised Grandma with a Birthday cake (even though her birthday isn't until January). Let me tell you the creators of this American Girl doll and the whole experience....those are some smart cookies I wish I knew and was a part of!

Anyhow, 3 hours later we ate, shopped, found some gift ideas to put on our list for Santa and had a great girlie afternoon! When we were walking out to the car Nicoletta said "Wow that was such a fun day!"

Apparently Luca didn't think too highly of HIS American Girl experience :-)

The Girls
**Don't think I'm a bad Mother, Luca was passed out in his stroller when we took this picture! **
