The Party!

On Saturday we had 36 of our closest friends and family over for Nicoletta's birthday party. We had such a great time, hopefully everyone else did too! Thank you SO much to all of our friends and family that helped make the day so special!

Nicoletta got a trampoline from Grandma Katie and Papa you can see how much she likes it in this picture!

Here is a shot with most of her cousins/friends that came, we were missing Mia & Casey but what are the chances that not only did 5 kids jump on a couch to take a picture but they were all actually looking at the camera!?

PASTA FACE! Thanks to my friend Kristin for quickly grabbing the camera for this one!

The Cake. Oh man this cake. I had nightmares about this cake. Nicoletta told me along time ago she wanted a Cinderella cake. I made her first birthday cake, I've made 4 cakes for my nephew Jack and Niece Mia (one of which was a spider man cake) I figured okay Cinderella I can do this. Yeah who was I kidding?! So as I looked online for ideas and a Cinderella cake pan I quickly found that just the pan was $50!!! So I enlisted the help of my mom's EXTREMELY talented girlfriend Laura Bero. She took on the task of her first ever girl cake (she has 2 boys) and she didn't even make me help her :-) So this is THEE cake which she cut out and iced FREE HAND!! Even if I worked on it for a month my Cinderella would have NEVER looked like that so thank you Laura for helping make our little girls dream of a Cinderella cake come true!! Also a HUGE thank you goes to my mom's other friend Dawn who is an amazing baker! She brought 2 huge plates of cookies that were gone before the end of the day! Thank you thank you I don't know what I would do without you! Not only did they take care of my sweets for me but they helped my mother clean my kitchen too!!! Now those are some true amazing friends!!

Dancing Queen! She got a Bear that dances and sings "I feel Good" and as soon as it went off she jumped off my lap and immediately started to dance, accompanied by her cousins!

Present Time!

Towards the end of the gifts one of her presents was wrapped in bubble wrap, well we should have just given her the bubble wrap for her birthday because she was totally fixed on it, it was love at first sight!!
