Since this was the first year that Nicoletta actually "got it" we decided to carry on a tradition which my mom always did with my brother and I. Every Easter she would have paw prints leading us out of our rooms and all around the house to our different gifts which made up our baskets. I give her a TON of credit because until I had to do it myself I didn't realize how much thought and planning went into it so thanks Mom!! Anyhow, we kept telling her all week that if she was a good girl the Easter Bunny was going to come and bring her presents. When she woke up that morning we both went into her room and while John was changing her diaper I asked if she thought the Easter Bunny had come. She looked up at me as replied with "Well I've been a good girl!" So I snuck out of the room so I could capture the first moments of her seeing the paws and off she went. It was almost as if she knew exactly what to do! I'm not sure who had more fun her or us!!
Nicoletta was a riot as usual and decided to put on a fashion show for everyone complete with about 5 outfit changes, some props and WAY too much candy! By 2pm we ALL went down for a nice long nap!
