The Tree House

There is a place in Lake Zurich called the Tree House. What a concept this place is. It was started by a stay at home mom in Michigan who felt there wasn't a place to take her kids to expel some energy when the weather was bad outside so she created one. It was like one giant outdoor park/playland but inside. It was a little crowded because it was a Saturday but we had a blast, I'm not sure who had more fun Nicoletta or Johnny.

She started off in the "baby" area as she was getting acclimated. She had no problem running around by herself and climbing on things in here.


Eventually she mustered up the courage to take a stroll/climb through the rest of it and take Daddy down the slides!


Once she got the hang on that we couldn't get her out of the place and we couldn't get her off of these slides (which by the way weren't exactly easy to get to, you had to crawl through an obstacle course just to get to the top of them). Anyhow, after multiple times down with us she decided she wanted to go on her own! She did really well except for the end when she spun around completely backwards luckily she thought it was hilarious instead of being scared!




I am so grateful that she is so independent and is definitely her own person it just makes me sad to realize that she's not a baby anymore!
